Short Description Execution and supervision of maintenance activities of rotating & static equipments at plant location & workshop
Detailed Description
  • Carry out skilled maintenance / overhaul of all rotating & static mechanical equipment such as exchanger, column, pumps, valves etc.

  • Responsible for modification/fabrication of process piping system including fabrication, erection & testing (pneumatic & hydro).

  • Experienced in pickling/neutralization/chemical cleaning procedure for the process piping

  • Prepare/Assist in compiling SOW, technical specification and method statement for planned/unplanned maintenance activity.

  • Able to prepare technical repair report & advise corrective measures to rectify as per the standards/ specification

  • Possess relevant knowledge of API & ASME standards & extensive work experience on pumps & turbines (installation & alignment).

  • Perform and/or direct preventive maintenance and/or overhauls defined in the preventive maintenance program using workshop facilities.

  • Experienced in working with workshop equipment’s including lathe, drilling, pneumatic/ power tools etc

  • Able to supervise and plan turn around/shutdown as required with maintenance mechanical engineer & maintenance planner.

  • Maintain equipment maintenance record.

  • Initiate & ensure all materials, special tools & spare parts available in stock prior to start of any maintenance activity.

  • Able to perform the repair work independently & assist other department in maintenance activity 

  • Actively participate & ensure compliance with company SHE policies for personnel and comply with reporting guidelines for all incidents.

Work Experience:

  • Bachelor in mechanical Engineering with 5 years worked in petrochemical /O&G field or Diploma holders in Mechanical Engineering with 12 years worked in Polysilicon /chemical plant .

  • Understand & apply plant safety standards & procedure while carrying maintenance activities & Should be able to work in workshop & site environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

Skills, Capabilities and Languages:

  • Excellent in oral & written English is required. Microsoft Office and SAP/CMMS is a plus.

  • Knowledge on pipes, trims & valves size, rating , type etc.

  • Candidate must have worked in supervisory role earlier in this field.

  • Able to read P& ID, isometrics & plant layout.

  • Able to work in Day/ night shift.

  • Good knowledge on company PTW & QA/QC system .
