Short Description Reporting to the Maintenance & Utilities Manager, the Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the overall plant electrical equipment reliability program, the day to day electrical engineering support to all operating units including Utilities, ownership of all high/medium voltage systems, and programming support as required.
Detailed Description
  • Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the overall plant electrical equipment reliability program, the day to day electrical engineering support to all operating units including Utilities, ownership of all high/medium voltage systems, and programming support as required. As this position is being filled prior to plant operation, some of the key responsibilities will be to review equipment specifications and drawings, assist in the development of start-up and commissioning packages, write SOP's, equipment inspection during construction, and records and data base development within the MMS. This position has no direct reports.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in a petro/chemical plant operation with specific experience in high/medium voltage systems, DCS/PLC systems, transformers, MCC, switchgear, large motors, power distribution and control, polysilicon experience is highly desired and preferred.


Education:

  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering is required.
